Albert Edwin Edwards was born in and enlisted at Liverpool and lived at Kirkdale. Serving with the “C” Company, 9th Battalion Liverpool Regiment, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 2 July 1917, aged 26 years. He was buried in the Vlamertinghe New Military Cemetery, Belgium. He was the husband of Georgina Edwards of 22 Medlock Street, Liverpool.
