Allan Cuthbertson was born in Dumfries and living in Govan, enlisted at Glasgow. Serving in the 6th/7th Battalion Royal Scots Fusiliers, he was killed in action on 9 April 1917. He was buried in the St. Catherine British Cemetery, Arras. Sold with a modern photograph of his gravestone.
