Dragoon Guards Back and Breast Plates, a very scarce pair of other ranks matching back and breast plates, c1830-47, the steel bodies edged with brass and ornamented with heavy brass studs for retaining the lining, the heavy brass scale linkages ornamented with white metal lion’s masks back and front, the brass plates retained via decorated white metal rivets, small sections only remain of the leather liners, surface rust patches overall but generally in good external condition for the age (2) £600-700
