One Pound, 1 January 1874, black and white proof on paper, ‘To This 6th Feby 1874’ in pencil at bottom right (Pick A56). Small marks on top edge, a spot of thinning and paper scrape in mount marks on backs of two corners, otherwise extremely fine (£200-250)
