Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp C, mm. rose (over plume on rev.), similar, but mark of value set low behind ruff, rev. oval scroll-garnished shield with small lis at top between c r, 5.99g/8h (Sharp C2/1; SCBI Brooker 461, same rev. die; N 2221; S 2787). Some weakness, otherwise very fine (£150-200)
