William Leeman Kent was born in Buttevant, Co. Cork and enlisted at Dublin. Serving as Company Sergeant-Major with the 1st Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 24 April 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial. Q.S.A. verified on 1st Battalion roll.
