Charles I (1625-1649), Confederate Catholics issues, ‘Blacksmith’s’ issue, Halfcrown, mm. cross potent on obv., harp on rev., horse without cross on housing, 13.32g/3h (S 6557A; DF 335). Flat in places with some dark staining, otherwise good very fine for issue and much as struck, very rare (£1,200-1,500)
