John Toms was born in Wisbech, Norfolk in June 1860. A Groom by occupation, he enlisted into the R.H.A. in June 1879. He served with G Battery B. Brigade R.H.A. in Egypt, October 1882-January 1886 and India, January 1886-November 1887. Sold with copied notes on service.
