Henry Siddons was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Bengal Engineers on 11 June 1830. He was promoted to Lieutenant on 20 May 1839, Captain on 1 May 1849 and Major on 7 June 1849. He died in Edinburgh on 26 February 1850.
