Captain Michael William Johnson, 6th Battalion Highland Light Infantry died/was killed on 4 April 1945. He was buried in the Reichswald Forest War Cemetery. He was the son of Major G. B. Johnson, O.B.E., F.R.E.S., and Mrs Johnson, of Eastbourne, Sussex. Sold with a large (36 x 28cm.) photograph of Captain Johnson in uniform, dated 1943.
