Frederick Henry Trevithick (1816-81), youngest son of Richard Trevithick (1771-1833), the Cornish mining engineer and builder of the world’s first railway steam locomotive, served as Locomotive Superintendent of the Grand Trunk Railway of Canada, formally incorporated in 1852
