Rau, 70mm; together with other European medals, in silver (2), base metal (8), by Caqué, Grandhomme, Ponscarme, Vauthier Galle, etc [12]. Several very fine (£60-80)

The Rally of the Midnight Sun, now known as the Swedish Rally and part of the World Rally Championship, was first held in 1950. Nils Magnus von Arbin (1910-85), husband of Dagmar, Countess Bernadotte of Wisborg, was a direct descendant of William the Conqueror
