Australia, Opening of the First Federal Parliament, 1901, silver, 25 x 36 mm., shield-shaped, cameo portraits of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, reverse cameo portraits of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York, with suspension loop and ribbon, on which is attached a silver and blue enamel bar, inscribed Australia, in the centre of which is attached a silver badge bearing the Australian arms. Extremely fine, rare in silver and presumably more so in this form (£80-100)
