George III (1760-1820), Bank of england octagonal countermarked dollar, on Spanish Dollar of Charles IV, 1801 FM, Mexico (ESC 138). Coin and countermark very fine, but struck from a fllawed flan, with damage to rim (obverse 12 o’clock and c. 5 o’clock), and srather rusty dies; countermark slopes slightly backwards (£120-140)
