Victoria, Copper Penny, 1849 (BMC 1497). Toned to a medium chocolate, extremely fine or better, with obverse particularly crisp and nice surfaces, slight friction to reverse and a very small spot of discolouration to the left of queen’s forehead; with the exception of the celebrated copper penny of 1860 probably the rarest date of the copper Penny series (£140-180)
