Indian Mutiny 1857-59, 1 clasp, Relief of Lucknow (Jas. Kennett, R.M. Shannon) light contact marks, otherwise very fine and better £400-500

Two Royal Marine officers and 54 marines received the Indian Mutiny medal for service with Shannon’s naval brigade. James Kennett is confirmed on the roll for the Relief of Lucknow and is also entitled to the clasp for Lucknow, which clasp, in common with many of the Royal Marine recipients, was sent separately at a later date.
