Douglas Gordon Evans was commissioned Lieutenant on 7 September 1914, and mobilised on the 19th of the same month. He became Captain in April 1915, Major in September 1926, and retired in September 1937. He rejoined on the outbreak of war in September 1939 and retired on full pay in August 1948. He died on 29 May 1958.
