Godwine is known for type 6 only at Winchester (RCL 3901). This specimen, if it is from the same mint, is from different dies. A moneyer Godwine struck in type 5 at Thetford and Wallingford and type 7 at Warwick. The N of ON is probably reverse-barred; the last letter of the mint signature may be N
