Sergeant James Fewell, Royal Canadian Regiment, was killed in action on 23 August 1917, aged 30 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial. He was the son of James Fewell of 43 Nicholas Street, Globe Road, Mile End, London, and husband of Maria Fewell of 94 Mons Terrace, West Street, Burgess Hill, Sussex.
