Only one ‘Abraham Farrant’ listed in the ‘Colin Message’ N.G.S. roll - listed as being Carpenter’s Crew on H.M.S. Spartiate, entitled to the clasp, Trafalgar. The only ‘Farrant’ listed in the above roll for Syria is to a ‘Lieutenant Augustus D. L. Farrant, R.M., H.M.S. Powerful.’
