Temperance medals (3): Soldiers’ Total Abstinence Association Medal, for 1 year (STA.1); another, for 7 years (STA.4), this a privately made piece in silver surmounted by an ‘Excelsior’ bar in place of the crown and with a privately made ornate brooch bar, ‘STAA Watch and be Sober’; Church of Ireland Temperance Society Medal, white metal, with bar, ‘C.I.T.S.’ across ribbon; Russia, Pacification of Hungary and Transylvania Medal 1849, copy in base silver metal, this last with edge bruise, nearly very fine and better (4) £30-40
