George Worth was born and lived in Dublin. Enlisting in Dublin, he served in the 6th Battalion Connaught Rangers. He was killed in action on 9 March 1916, aged 30 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. He was the son of Mrs Margaret Worth, of 7 Albert Court West, Charlmount Street, Dublin.
