A K.P.M. pair awarded to Detective-Inspector Edgar Lee, Stockport Borough Police Force

King’s Police Medal, G.V.R., 1st issue (Edgar Lee, Detect.-Insp., Stockport Boro. Pol.); Coronation 1911, County & Borough Police, unnamed; together with two silver prize medals, one engraved on reverse, ‘Lancashire Swimming Association, 1st Prize Won by E. Lee, Aug. 9th 1886’; the other, ‘2nd Prize Won by E. Lee, Sept. 12th 1881’, good very fine (4) £400-450

Detective-Inspector Edgar Lee was awarded the K.P.M. in 1913. He retired from the Police force in September 1919 having completed 37 years, 10 months service. Sold with a quantity of copied research including newspaper extracts.
