Daniel Collis was born in the Parish of Wallop, Hampshire, and enlisted into the 69th Regiment on 17 August 1813, aged 34. He was discharged at Colchester on 8 October 1816, ‘in consequence of the reduction of the Battalion and being wounded on the 16th June at Quatre Bra in the left thigh by a musket ball’. Sold with copy discharge papers.
