King’s South Africa 1901-02, 2 clasps (3595 Corpl. J. Dunn, Gordon Highrs.) extremely fine £80-100

In addition to the above, 3595 Corporal J. Dunn, Gordon Highlanders, received the India General Service Medal 1895-1902, with clasps for Relief of Chitral, Punjab Frontier 1897-98 and Tirah 1897-98, and the Queen’s South Africa Medal with clasps for Cape Colony, Paardeberg, Driefontein and Belfast.

Serving with the 1st Battalion during the Boer War, Dunn, as a Private, was wounded at Magersfontein, 11 December 1899, and as a Lance-Corporal, was slightly wounded at Belfast, 8 January 1901.
