Robert Davidson was born in and enlisted at Dumbarton. Serving with the 1/9th Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, he was killed in action on 24 May 1915, aged 18 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was the son of Thomas and Christina Davidson of Edgehill, Victoria Street, Dumbarton.

James A. Longworth was born in and enlisted at Manchester. Serving with the 11th Battalion Royal Scots, he was killed in action on 23 March 1918. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial.
