Albert Cheeseman was born in Westend, near Cobham, Surrey and enlisted at Guildford. Serving with the 6th Battalion The Queen’s (Royal West Surrey Regiment), he was killed in action, on 14 March 1916, aged 20 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. He was the son of William and Annie Cheeseman of Rose Cottage, West End, Woking, Surrey.

George Watling was born in Kensington, Middlesex and lived in Shepherds Bush, Middlesex. Serving in “B” Company, 8th Battalion East Surrey Regiment, he was killed in action, on 3 May 1917, aged 33 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial. He was the son of Charles and Eliza Watling of 37 St. Stephen’s Avenue, Goldhawk Road, Shepherds Bush, London.
