Army Ordnance Corps Officer’s Full Dress Waist Belt. A very fine example by Hobson and Sons London the red Moroccan belt faced with gold and scarlet lace, the clasp in very fine gilt and silver of 1855 pattern but with oak leaf finials in the centre a shield bearing the arms of ordnance and on the circle “Ordnance” and laurel sprays. Together with a Victorian Infantry Officer’s Levee pattern waist belt complete with gilt and silver clasp, an Engineer Officer’s waist belt by Ranken and Co. Calcutta tan leather with gold inlay lace complete with sword slings but lacking the clasp, good overall condition (3) £150-200
