Charles George Mourne was born in Portsmouth in June 1909 and served for many years in the Special Constabulary in Southampton, including the 1939-45 War when the city was severely damaged by enemy air raids; sold with a quantity of original documentation, including National Registration identity card, with portrait photograph, dated 14 October 1940, assorted correspondence and several career photographs, including a picture of him receiving his Long Service Medal from the Chief Constable.
