Henry John Warwick was born in Eastworth, Chertsey, Surrey, on 2 August 1869. Served as a Lance-Corporal in the 25th Fortress Company, R.E. in Hong Kong at the time of plague, for which he was awarded the silver medal. Awarded the Army L.S. & G.C. during the reign of Edward VII as a Foreman of Works Quartermaster Serjeant in the Royal Engineers - a replacement medal was issued in October 1917, the original having been lost at sea. During the Great War Warwick served in the 101 Company R.E. With some copied research.
