Colonial Police Forces L.S. & G.C., E.II.R., 2nd issue (11884 Sgt. Knox M. Mpofu, B.S.A. Police), in its Royal Mint case of issue, nearly extremely fine £60-70

Knox M. Mpofu was born in the Wedza Tribal District in 1930 and was educated at Waddilove Training Institute, prior to his enlistment in the British South Africa Police in May 1947. Serving variously at Gatooma, Norton, Sinoia, Kariba and Mazoe, he was awarded his Colonial Police Forces L.S. & G.C. in September 1965, in addition to gaining entitlement to the Rhodesia General Service Medal in January 1971. Mpofu retired in July 1972; sold with copied retirement notice.
