Commander Noel Wilbraham Dixon, R.N., Admiralty Operations Division, was awarded the Polish Order of Poland Restored 4th Class in 1942 for services to the Polish Navy, and awarded the O.B.E. in 1944 for his services in Operation Neptune (D-Day landings).
