Medals Commemorating the Battle of Jutland (2), in gold, 22mm, obverse two crossed staves displaying the White Ensign and Union flag attached to an upright trident decorated with a shield, inscribed ’31 May 1916’, anchor below ‘to the memory of those who fell that day’, reverse inscribed within wreath ‘May 31 1916 The German fleet attacked off the coast of Jutland and driven back into port with heavy loss.
