East Essex Rifles Militia, two interesting and scarce badges, the first being a QVC over a strung bugle horn with the County shield resting on the strings, made of lead with a silvered finish, two large bolt fasteners to the reverse, possibly a harness badge for a field officer’s charger; the second, a badge of similar outline, an uncrowned strung bugle horn in copper with a silver County shield lodged within the strings, four copper wire fasteners to the reverse, possibly the officer’s glengarry badge or the mount from an earlier shako plate, good condition (2) £40-60
