Henry Thomas Johnson was born in Mile End, London, and enlisted for the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment on 19 January 1897, at the age of 18 years 6 months. He served in South Africa from 25 February 1899 to 17 September 1902, and was discharged in January 1909. Sold with copy service papers.
