18th Century British Trade Tokens

Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury, Skidmore’s mule Halfpenny, from the same obv. die as previous, rev. anchor and cable, edge grained, 11.81g/6h (DH 19; Preston-Morley 1036). Spot on reverse, otherwise extremely fine with diffused original colour, extremely rare; only six specimens known, one of which is in the British Museum £300-400
