Middlesex [Specious and Collectors’], Skidmore’s British Penny, 1797, Britannia seated right, rev. twr cypher, date on tablet below, edge i promise to pay on demand the bearer one penny, 23.94g/6h (DH 6). Reverse edge fault at 5 o’clock, otherwise extremely fine with a hint of original colour, very rare £800-1,000
