18th Century British Trade Tokens

Suffolk, Blything, Sir John Rous, Halfpenny, 1794, mounted yeoman, sword point to o in suffolk, rev. castle in crowned Garter, edge god save the king and constitution, 11.40g/12h (DH 18; Judson 1063). Usual light die flaw behind horseman, spot by horse’s tail, otherwise virtually as struck with reflective surfaces, reverse with original colour, extremely rare £500-700
