Evans, who was born in February 1925, was commissioned in the Gunners & Signallers section of the General Duties Branch in February 1945. Sometime thereafter transferring to the Secretarial Branch, he was advanced to Flight Lieutenant in July 1955 and to Squadron Leader in January 1973, and was placed on the Retired List in May 1979, having been awarded the M.B.E.; sold with brief career details.
