Corps); Defence Medal, unnamed; Imperial Service Medal, G.VI.R., 2nd issue (Frederick Laishley) mounted for wear in incorrect order, some contact marks, generally very fine (6) £360-400

Serjeant Frederick Laishley, Army Cyclist Corps entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 31 May 1915. He was subsequently awarded the Military Medal for bravery in the field. In later life he was employed by the Post Office and was awarded the I.S.M. in 1952.

With original (but crumpled) photograph of the recipient in uniform, wallet for holding medals and some copied research.
