Robert William Rogers was born, lived and enlisted at Norwich. Serving in the 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 23 August 1914. He was killed in action on 17 September 1914. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial. Clasp confirmed. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
