Seven: Lieutenant-Commander R. J. M. Eden, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve

1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star; Africa Star; Burma Star; Defence and War Medals, these unnamed; Naval General Service 1915-62, 1 clasp, Minesweeping (Lt./Cmdr., R.N.V.R.) officially engraved naming - possibly a slightly later issue, mounted as worn, good very fine and better (7) £280-320

Rodney James Murray Eden, appointed a Sub-Lieutenant in the R.N.V.R. on 29 October 1939. Promoted to Lieutenant in October 1940 and Acting Lieutenant-Commander in March 1943. Served throughout the war in coastal forces. Placed in command of H.M.S. Wiay - an Isles Class trawler in September 1946. Released from Naval Service on 4 July 1947. With copied service notes.
