Army L.S. & G.C., V.R., 1st issue, large letter reverse, edge dated (Thomas Ogden, 7th Regiment Foot 1847) with steel claw and replacement silver suspension, some edge bruising, very fine £200-250

Thomas Ogden was born in the Parish of Pilkington, Lancashire and enlisted into the Royal Fusiliers at Manchester on 20 January 1825, aged 18 years. He served overseas in the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and the West Indies. He was discharged on 30 June 1847. The Long Service medal was his only medallic award. With copied discharge papers.
