On a slightly oval flan, about very fine, the variety apparently unpublished, possibly UNIQUE

The coin is certainly within the Dobunni/East Wiltshire group of units – the ‘sunburst’ on the chin placing it close to Rudd 2119. Quite what the complex group of ornaments in front of the face is supposed to represent still eludes the cataloguer at the time of going to press
