Auction Catalogue
Stephen (1135-1154), Cut Halfpenny, Cross Pommée type, possibly Exeter, Ailric (?), [—] n : e [—], 0.67g/12h (N 881; S 1282). Tiny chip at one corner, otherwise fine to very fine with a good portrait £50-70
The first letter of the mint name could be a B but the portrait does bear some stylistic resemblance to the Exeter penny in the Elmore Jones Collection (lot 1397)
