Annie Lord Hoyle trained at York County Hospital, 1907-10. As a Sister in the T.F.N.S. serving with the 13th General Hospital, she entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 28 October 1914. She later served with the 55th General Hospital and 32nd Stationary Hospital. In 1926 she was living at Ash Lea Cottage, Rastrick, Yorkshire; during the late 1930’s and 40’s she was living at 4 Sidlaw Terrace, Clarence Road, Bognor Regis.
