John Lawrence Dooley studied medicine at the National University of Ireland. He became a Surgeon Probationer, R.N.V.R. in October 1916 on H.M.S. Crocus, returning to graduate M.B., B.Ch. (N.U.I.) in 1921. In 1927 he was living in Athy, Co. Kildare; by 1930 he was in practice in Askam-in-Furness, Lancashire.
Joseph Craig McNaught was a medical student at the University of Glasgow. In August 1917 he enrolled in the R.N.V.R. as a Surgeon Probationer on H.M.S. Sunflower. He graduated from the University of Glasgow M.B., Ch.B. in 1921 and was in practice at Broadstairs, Kent until 1971.
Both with some copied research.
