Alexander Crofton Sleigh qualified as a Licentiate in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 1915. He was appointed a Surgeon Probationer in the R.N.V.R. in 1916 , serving on H.M.S. Marguerite. In 1944 he was living at The Turret, Lynton, Devon.
