Served with 1/1st Brecknockshire Battalion, South Wales Borderers, T.F., which arrived at Bombay on 16 December 1914, before being transhipped to Aden, serving there until August 1915 when they returned to Bombay, remaining in India for the rest of the war. Sold with m.i.c. which confirms both medals and shows entitlement to the Victory Medal.
