Leighton, crowned bust left, rev. enthroned figure of Empire surrounded by standing figures representing Science, Letters, Art, etc, Mercury and Time below, 58mm, 89.83g (W & E 2000.3; BHM 3219; E 1733a). A few light surface and scuff marks, particularly in upper reverse field, otherwise extremely fine; in original red leather case £2,000-2,500
